The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, paid a working visit to the Balkan velayat, where he familiarized himself with the progress of preparations being carried out by the State Organizational Committee to ensure the high-level organization of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, which will be held in August in the National Tourist Zone “Avaza”.

 

As reported in the “Watan” news program, Hero-Arkadag arrived at Turkmenbashy International Airport and got acquainted with the created facilities and services provided there.

 

During his visit to the airport, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty emphasized the importance of ensuring high-quality services at the commercial outlets located on the airport premises and of preparing special souvenirs for arriving guests, offering a number of recommendations on these matters.

 

Hero-Arkadag also reviewed the ongoing work to provide high-quality services at the airport to the participants of the international conference and to the guests of the capital.

 

Then, Hero-Arkadag visited the international passenger terminal and the passport control area of the airport.

 

The National Leader of the Turkmen people also passed through the customs checkpoint of the airport and familiarized himself with the modern conditions created there.

 

Later, Hero-Arkadag examined the newly delivered service equipment for Turkmenbashy International Airport. He reviewed the technical specifications of the equipment, emphasized the importance of its proper use and maintenance, and offered several valuable recommendations.
