The Galkynysh national equestrian games group performed at the 47th International Circus Festival in Monte Carlo, which started on January 17.

 

The masters of graceful Akhal-Teke horses presented a unique show at the festival, combining the ancient traditions of Turkmen equestrian art and modern circus technologies. The audience was delighted by the harmonious duet of man and animal, as well as the complex tricks performed by Turkmen riders on their Akhal-Teke horses.

 

For Galkynysh, created in 2007, this is not the first triumph. They first announced themselves on the world stage in 2013, winning the golden Idol at the World Festival of Circus Arts in Moscow. And since then - only resounding victories! Italy, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia — their performances have received ovations all over the world.

 

Now it is the turn of Monte Carlo — one of the most prestigious circus arts festivals. And there, Galkynysh once again showed why Akhal-Teke horses are called the pride of Turkmenistan.
