The women's tennis team of Turkmenistan successfully started its performance at the international junior qualifying tournament of the Billie Jean King Cup in the age category under 16, having won a crushing 3:0 victory over the team of Vietnam, the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" reports.

The competition is being held in Malaysia with the participation of teams from 14 countries, which are divided into four groups. Turkmenistan is playing in Group "B" together with Sri Lanka and Vietnam.

Following the results of the group stage, the two best teams will advance to the playoffs of the tournament.
