The Turkmenistan Youth Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Rasul Klychev, took part in the World Orchestra Festival held in Vienna.
The program of the Turkmen ensemble brought together diverse cultural genres — from classical music to folklore. The orchestra performed Franz Schubert’s String Quartet No. 14 in D minor orchestrated by Gustav Mahler, an arrangement of the folk melody “It’s Paradise” for dutar and orchestra arranged by Turkmen composer Mered Annamuradov, as well as Astor Piazzolla’s “Tango: Mystic Fugue.”
The World Orchestra Festival is being held from July 23 to 26, 2025, under the motto “One Future – Our Best Future.” The event has brought together orchestras from nearly 40 countries around the world.
