A large-scale competition for youth innovation startup projects recently concluded in Turkmenistan, aimed at unlocking the creative potential of the younger generation and promoting the adoption of modern technologies across various sectors of society. The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan reported on the event.
The final stage of the competition gathered more than 40 projects submitted by students from higher and secondary vocational education institutions across the country. The event focused on fostering creative thinking among youth and supporting initiatives based on innovative solutions.
An expert panel highlighted the high social significance, economic value, and technical soundness of the submitted projects. Special attention was given to the societal benefits of the developments and their prospects for wider implementation.
The top three winners presented projects in the fields of marketing, education, and digital media. First place was awarded to an innovative method for promoting companies, second place to an online platform for career guidance and educational improvement, and third place to a digital media platform. The competition also featured five special categories, including social and women entrepreneurship, digital innovations, and the green economy.
The event was organized by the Union of Economists of Turkmenistan, the public association “Türkmenistanyň Ýaşlarynyň Üstünlikleri,” and the private companies “Maslahatly Çözgüt” and “Eksport Konsalting.” Winners received awards from the Ministry of Education and partner organizations.
