On September 17, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with Cho Seung-Il, Executive Vice President of Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd., in Ashgabat.

The parties discussed the successful activities of Korean companies in Turkmenistan's oil, gas, and chemical industries, emphasizing their effective collaboration with Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. In particular, they noted the signing of a contract for the construction of a mineral fertilizer production complex at a chemical plant in Turkmenabat.

Particular attention was paid to the activities of Korean companies implementing a project to create a modern medical cluster in the city of Arkadag.

At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation and implement joint projects.
