Following the draw held on July 3, Turkmenistan's national football team has been placed in Group "A" of the CAFA Nations Cup 2025. The team will face Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Oman. This was reported by Football federation of Turkmenistan. Group "B" includes the national teams of Tajikistan, Iran, Afghanistan, and Malaysia.

The international tournament is scheduled to take place from August 29 to September 8 in two cities: Tashkent (Uzbekistan) will host Group "A" matches, while Group "B" games will be held in Dushanbe (Tajikistan).

Turkmenistan will play its opening match against Kyrgyzstan on August 30. The second match against Uzbekistan is set for September 2, and the final group-stage game against Oman will take place on September 5.

According to the tournament rules, group winners will face each other in the final, while the second-placed teams will compete for third place. Both matches are scheduled for September 8.
