Turkmenistan to Host Turkmen-Japanese Business Forum

At the Cabinet of Ministers meeting held via digital system on July 18, Vice Premier Nokerguly Atagulyyev reported to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the ongoing preparations for the Turkmen-Japanese Business Forum.

As reported by Nokerguly Atagulyyev, necessary measures are currently being taken to ensure the high-quality organization of the forum. Japanese companies specializing in investment, services, education, the oil and gas and industrial sectors, medical equipment production, construction, and logistics have expressed strong interest in participating.

On the Turkmen side, the forum will include representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, as well as ministries and sectoral departments. A relevant proposal for organizing the forum was submitted for the President's consideration.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan regularly participates in major international events. He emphasized the successful performance of the country's national pavilion at the ongoing World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, and instructed the Vice Premier to prepare properly for the Turkmen-Japanese Business Forum and ensure it is held at the highest level.
