On May 31, the preliminary round of the international quiz “Quiz on Korea 2025” will take place in Ashgabat. The winner will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the Republic of Korea. The Embassy of the Republic of Korea, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea and the KBS TV channel, will fully cover the finalist’s travel, including round-trip airfare, accommodation, meals, and local transportation.

The top participant of the Turkmenistan round will represent the country in the final round, scheduled for September 7, 2025, in Korea. The final will be broadcast on October 9 on KBS in celebration of the Korean national holiday Hangeul Day.

This is a unique opportunity for those who dream of visiting Korea and possess deep knowledge about the country. The main requirements for participants include:

Age 18 and above

Excellent command of the Korean language

No Korean citizenship

Readiness to represent Turkmenistan in the final.

The preliminary round will be held from 15:00 to 17:00 on the football field of the large training halls in the Olympic Village. Applications are accepted until May 23 via the official email of the Korean Embassy: korembtm@mofa.go.kr. Organizers will select 40 participants, who will be notified individually.

Spectators are also welcome — entrance will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
