On March 25, the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldy Kakayev held the Olympiad "Talented Young Mathematicians" among students of grades 11-12 of secondary schools of Turkmenistan, the Sanly bilim portal reports.

The competition was held in two stages in the form of an individual competition. In the first stage, which was held online on March 5, 675 schoolchildren from all regions of the country took part, 100 of whom advanced to the second final round.

Based on the results of the Olympiad, the winners were awarded diplomas of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degrees on behalf of the rector of the university.
