Professors and instructors from Xi’an Shiyou University and Hebei Petroleum Vocational and Technical University of China have arrived in Turkmenistan on a working visit to establish a "Luban Workshop" at the Yagshygeldi Kakaev International University of Oil and Gas.

During their visit, the Chinese specialists will conduct a week-long professional development course for young Turkmen university teachers, focusing on the implementation of new technologies in informatics and applied geology.

This cooperation is based on a Memorandum of Understanding signed on October 18, 2024, in Xi’an between the Yagshygeldi Kakaev International University of Oil and Gas, Xi’an Shiyou University, Hebei Petroleum Vocational and Technical University, the China National Petroleum Corporation, and the China Education Association for International Exchange regarding the establishment of the "Luban Workshop".

The visit also includes experience exchange with other related higher educational institutions in the country.
