The National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, delivered a speech at the Halk Maslahaty meeting on September 19.

"Independence and neutrality are our national pride. They are closely intertwined and together form a glorious path of peace and trust. Independence and permanent neutrality are the doctrine that forms the foundation of the state’s stability, national unity, and all our achievements.

Looking back at the path we’ve taken in strengthening independence and promoting the policy of permanent neutrality in the world, we must always remember that every success is rooted in love for the Motherland, dedication, and hard work. Enormous efforts have been made over the years of independence, and impressive results have been achieved — all for the sake of a bright present and future.

Our next task is to ensure the continued prosperity of our country, and we can accomplish this by solidifying and promoting our existing achievements and inspiring people toward new successes. The Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan plays a significant role in this process," - the Hero-Arkadag emphasized.

"All our efforts are aimed at supporting the policy of the President of Turkmenistan, the Arkadagly Hero Serdar, at increasing the effectiveness of reforms being implemented in the country, and at improving the well-being of our people. Special focus is placed on the development of the national economy, maintaining high investment activity, and boosting export potential.

Today, our economic capabilities have significantly increased, and GDP growth continues at a stable rate. Comprehensive measures are being taken to develop the economy on an innovative basis, to digitalize it, to provide modern housing for urban and rural populations, and to create new jobs. Cooperation with international financial institutions continues in the areas of supporting entrepreneurship, small and medium-sized businesses, and financing projects of national producers.

In this International Year of Peace and Trust, inauguration ceremonies were held for newly built modern higher educational institutions, as well as schools and kindergartens. These celebrations were timed to the Day of Knowledge and Students. First-grade students received locally produced “Bilimli” computers as gifts on behalf of the esteemed President.

I would like to especially highlight the significant contribution of our youth to the labor achievements of our independent Homeland, as well as their remarkable success in international academic Olympiads and sporting tournaments," - the National Leader of the Turkmen People noted.

"With the support and trust of our native people, and by strengthening the prestige of our independent Homeland on the international stage, we will continue to accelerate our large-scale work for the prosperity and happiness of our citizens. Through unity and dedicated labor, we will ensure the flourishing of the Homeland, and our deeds will be inscribed in golden letters into the pages of our glorious history, becoming an example for future generations," said the Hero-Arkadag, wishing all participants of the meeting good health, happiness, and well-being.
