In Turkmenistan an ambitious project to create a centralized digital education system called "Sanly bilim" was implemented.

 

The "Sanly bilim" platform functions as a "Single Window for Educational Services" of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan. It unites disparate educational portals, services, news content and even services of foreign educational programs into a single information space. Users gain access to various resources through a single ID and personal account.

 

The key components of the new system are:

 

Digital education service: A service for paying for training courses, enrolling in professional training and paying for tuition at universities and colleges.

 

E-mekdep and E-bakja: Mobile applications for parents that allow you to track the academic performance, attendance, homework of schoolchildren ("E-mekdep") and receive information about kindergarten students ("E-bakja"). The applications also provide access to electronic textbooks and information about competitions.

 

Educational portals: Integrated platforms for universities and colleges, where students can access educational materials, schedules, grades, and teachers can participate in a rating system based on their scientific, social and creative activities.

 

Unified Electronic Library of Education (kitaphana.edu.tm): An extensive resource of educational materials for schools and universities, integrated into the national system to support independent learning and research.

 

Digital notification platform for educators: A specialized portal for promptly informing teachers about legislative acts, orders, announcements and other important documentation.

 

The system also uses elements of artificial intelligence to process and distribute news content, with the original materials created directly by educational institutions.

 

The launch of "Sanly bilim" marks an important step in the modernization of the educational sector in Turkmenistan, creating a transparent, accessible and effective digital environment that unites all participants in the educational process and meets the challenges of our time.
