Romania plans to organize lessons about Turkmenistan for young people

During her working visit to Bucharest, the Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, Chinar Rustemova, met with the State Secretary of the Ministry of National Education of Romania, Gigel Paraschiv.

The Romanian side expressed interest in establishing and further strengthening the established cooperation in the educational and scientific research spheres. The Deputy Minister thanked the Turkmen side for choosing Romanian universities to send young people to study abroad. This was reported on the website of the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Bucharest.

Currently, based on the cooperation program, the Romanian side annually allocates 105 scholarships for studying at universities for Turkmen citizens.

Following the conversation, it was proposed to organize open lessons about Turkmenistan in Romania, where Romanian students and schoolchildren would get acquainted with the history, culture and traditions of the Turkmen people, the source notes.
