On October 1, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the city of Arkadag, where he familiarized himself with the designs of facilities planned for construction and modernization within the territory of the "smart city" built using innovative technologies.

Hero-Arkadag reviewed the projects of new facilities, including industrial complexes and road and transport infrastructure, scheduled for implementation as part of the second phase of the new city’s development.

Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, Deryageldi Orazov, and Head of the City Administration, Gulshat Mammedova, briefed him on the measures being taken in accordance with the development plan for the smart city.

First, Hero-Arkadag was informed that the products of the company "Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment", including baby food, had been awarded the "Product of the Year" gold medal and the corresponding diploma at an exhibition held in Moscow in September of this year. This award serves as clear evidence of international recognition of the environmental purity of goods, particularly healthy and nutritious food products produced by domestic industrial enterprises, including those located in the city of Arkadag.

Next, he was presented with construction projects, including a medical instrument manufacturing plant (for injection and infusion tools) within the city’s medical cluster, and the main gates of the mosque. Also showcased were schemes for the modernization of Ahalteke Horses Avenue, the road to the National Museum of Wildlife, and other road and transport infrastructure projects.

Hero-Arkadag also reviewed the proposed designs for the Research and Training Center of the City Healthcare Administration, as well as the Patient Data Management Center of the National Digital Healthcare System, along with information on their future functions.

After familiarizing himself with the projects, Hero-Arkadag made a number of remarks and proposed necessary adjustments. In addition, noting the importance of digitalizing the healthcare system using advanced practical solutions, the National Leader emphasized the urgent need to train specialists capable of mastering achievements in medical science.

Speaking on the importance of ensuring that construction and finishing materials are suitable for local soil and climate conditions—which helps maintain a healthy ecological environment in the city—Hero-Arkadag offered the relevant recommendations.
