From October 22 to 24, 2025, the capital city of Ashgabat will host the 30th International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan” (“OGT 2025”), providing a major opportunity to expand business ties and attract investment.

This year’s event holds particular significance for private Turkmen entrepreneurs: for the first time, more than 100 representatives from over 30 international companies from around the world will participate. Among them are companies from China, the UK, USA, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, the Cayman Islands, Azerbaijan, Germany, Cyprus, Russia, the Netherlands, and the UAE. Many of these companies are entering the Turkmen market for the first time and do not yet have permanent offices in the country — creating substantial opportunities for local entrepreneurs to build mutually beneficial partnerships.

To facilitate productive meetings, organizers have set up a dedicated B2B area within the exhibition space. This zone is designed to align participants’ goals, technologies, and investment interests. A new AI-powered platform called “Business Connect” will help match participants effectively, offering personalized meeting schedules and enabling smooth, internationally-aligned business interactions.

Entrepreneurs — including small and medium-sized businesses — are invited to actively participate in the OGT 2025 forum and connect via the “Business Connect” platform. To do so, it is sufficient to download the “Turkmen Energy Forum” (“TEF App”) mobile application, available on Android and iOS. Through this app, participants can schedule B2B meetings and build direct business relationships with more than 500 delegates from 45 countries.

The “OGT” forum continues to strengthen its role as a key international business platform. Aligned with a landmark anniversary, the forum will bring together top executives and senior speakers from leading global energy companies, serving as a major venue for signing significant contracts in Turkmenistan’s energy sector. This further reinforces its status as one of the main international events in the global energy calendar.
