The Resolution "Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan" was adopted for the third time at the 61st plenary meeting of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York. This was noted by the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan in his congratulatory letter to the President.
The first resolution - December 12, 1995, supported by 185 countries;
The second - June 3, 2015, unanimous support of 193 states;
The third was adopted on March 21, 2025. This once again confirms Turkmenistan's commitment to the principles of neutrality.
As noted in the letter, Turkmenistan's neutrality is a value not only for the country, but also for the whole world.
It is worth noting that in 2017, at the initiative of Turkmenistan, December 12 was declared the International Day of Neutrality, which is another confirmation of the country's peace-loving policy.
