An unusual holiday home has opened in the German village of Rieps. Its area is only 11 square meters.
The owners, Marita Hannemann-Moos and Andreas Moos, bought an old transformer substation for 1.19 euros. The renovation of the building cost 140,000 euros and took four years. Now it has everything you need: a kitchen, bedroom, living room, and even a small winter garden.
Despite its size, the house is as comfortable as a hotel. The building is rented out for 110 euros per day. The owners hope that their project will be recognized as the smallest home in the world.
