The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the People’s Republic of China, Parakhat Durdyev, held a meeting with the Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) to discuss Turkmenistan’s participation in the 5th Baiketu Forum, scheduled for September 25, 2025. The meeting took place on July 24 at the Turkmen diplomatic mission.

 

The Chinese side officially invited Turkmenistan to take part in the international forum, which will be held at the Central Asia Cultural Exchange Center in the city of Tacheng, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.

 

The forum is being organized by the People’s Government of Tacheng Prefecture together with the China International Council for the Promotion of Multinational Corporations (CICPMC). During the talks, particular emphasis was placed on the importance of involving Central Asian countries in regional integration projects aimed at sustainable development.

 

The Turkmen diplomat expressed gratitude to the host side for the invitation and provided information on Turkmenistan’s foreign policy course, as well as on upcoming international events involving the country.

 

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chinese partners were presented with the book “The Spiritual World of the Turkmen” by the President of Turkmenistan and selected works of Magtymguly Pyragy translated into Chinese on the occasion of the 300th anniversary
