On August 25, a signing ceremony of the Agreement on technical and economic cooperation between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the People's Republic of China was held in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The document will promote the expansion of cooperation in the sphere of economic, scientific, technical and infrastructural cooperation between Turkmenistan and China.

The document was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Turkmenistan Ji Shumin.

The signed document is aimed at exchanging accumulated positive experience, discussing issues of practical implementation of advanced innovative solutions in leading sectors of the economy, as well as enhancing partnership in this area between Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China.
