On August 7, within the framework of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Minister of Transport and Logistics of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Alemu Sime Feisa.
The parties paid special attention to the possibilities of expanding bilateral cooperation with an emphasis on trade and economic cooperation.

The interlocutors pointed out the effectiveness of cooperation between the two countries within the framework of international organizations and considered the possibility of establishing interaction with the African Union.

The parties expressed their commitment to peace-loving initiatives and agreed to continue their partnership in this vein. In this context, the importance of the International Forum of Peace and Trust scheduled to be held in Ashgabat in December of this year was emphasized.
