On July 29, 2025, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation, Esen Aydogdyev, held a meeting with Yuri Zhdanov, Executive Secretary of the Coordinating Council of Prosecutor Generals of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). This was reported by Turkmenistan’s diplomatic mission.

 

The parties discussed the development of cooperation among law enforcement agencies of CIS member states, as well as the organization and holding of upcoming meetings within the framework of interaction between the prosecutor generals' offices of CIS countries, including the session of the Coordinating Council of Prosecutor Generals scheduled for this autumn.

 

In preparation for this event, a meeting of deputy prosecutors of CIS member states responsible for international cooperation will be held in Moscow at the end of August 2025.
