Turkmen students won 7 medals at the 32nd International Mathematical Olympiad IMC-2025, which was held from July 27 to August 3 in Blagoevgrad (Bulgaria). The team won 2 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals.

 

The gold medal was won by students of the International University for Humanities and Development Medina Odayeva and Nurmurat Atayev.

 

Kerim Toylyev, also representing the above-mentioned university, was awarded a silver medal. Another silver medal was won by a student of the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli Shabibi Nurjanova.

 

The winners of bronze medals were Batyr Ovezmuradov (Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering), Gurtgeldi Khanov (Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi) and Nurmuhammet Gochiyev (State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan).

 

The Olympiad, which was organized by University College of London and the American University in Bulgaria, was attended by 434 students from 52 countries.
