During his working visit to the United States, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah.

Expressing satisfaction with the opportunity to discuss the current state and future directions of bilateral relations, the two leaders expressed confidence that the results of today's meeting would contribute to the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation.

Using this opportunity, the Crown Prince of Kuwait congratulated the President of Turkmenistan on the successful holding of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries in Avaza and asked him to convey his warm greetings to the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Hero Arkadag.

Thanking for the kind words, the head of state emphasized that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to strengthening equal dialogue and mutually respectful partnership with the State of Kuwait and conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from Hero Arkadag to the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah.

The interlocutors acknowledged the significant opportunities for expanding interstate relations in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres. They identified the fuel and energy, transport, and communications sectors as promising areas for expanding bilateral cooperation.

"Our country's favorable geographical location and abundant natural resources create the conditions for the development of major projects at the international level." "We can cooperate in creating transport and transit corridors in the East-West and North-South directions, as well as in implementing major energy projects such as the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline," the President of Turkmenistan said.

The parties also noted the existing opportunities to increase mutual export and import potential, develop mutual trade, and further strengthen economic cooperation. In this regard, the advisability of regularly holding bilateral consultations and exhibitions in various areas was emphasized.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also noted the broad prospects for cooperation in the cultural, humanitarian, scientific, educational, sports, and tourism spheres, confirming Turkmenistan's readiness to consider specific proposals from the Kuwaiti side.

The head of state invited Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah to participate in the International Forum, which will be held on December 12 in Ashgabat.

Thanking for the invitation, the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait noted the importance of Turkmenistan's foreign policy, based on positive neutrality, in strengthening peace in the region and throughout the world.
