Marta Giris from Turkmenistan won the International School Olympiad organized by the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and was admitted to the university’s Faculty of International Journalism. This was reported by the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan.
Following two rounds of entrance examinations for international applicants, more than 180 candidates received confirmation of their admission to MGIMO.
“When I saw my name among the winners, I couldn't believe it at first. But soon came realization and joy. This is a big step forward toward my dream. I believe MGIMO will help me unlock my potential, gain confidence, and grow as a future professional,” the winner said.
In the 2024/25 academic year, the Olympiad was held for the third time and brought together 3,182 participants from different countries around the world.
The third wave of entrance interviews at MGIMO will be held from July 18 to 24.
