On July 18, 2025, Turkmenistan’s Ambassador Hemra Amannazarov held talks with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jiří Kozák. The parties discussed preparations for the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3).

They exchanged views on priority issues and opportunities for bilateral cooperation aimed at supporting the sustainable development goals of landlocked developing countries.

Turkmenistan and the Czech Republic reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening interaction and close collaboration on international platforms to ensure the successful organization of the LLDC3 Conference.

The LLDC3 Conference will be held from August 4 to 8, 2025, in the Avaza National Tourist Zone in Turkmenistan. The event will bring together representatives of landlocked countries, international organizations, and development partners to address key challenges and identify pathways to sustainable growth.
