An exhibition of paintings by Turkmen artists has been opened in the State Museum of Fine Arts on the eve of the new school year. The museum's storerooms contain many paintings dedicated to this topic. Among them are iconic ones, without which no exhibition on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth can do. Among such paintings is the work of Pyotr Tutinasov "Tomorrow to School".

In front of the audience, a girl, inspired by the upcoming event, carefully irons an apron for her school uniform. She has already prepared a school bag with textbooks. The girl is in a great mood - tomorrow she will meet her classmates, whom she missed so much during the summer holidays. Over time, school uniforms change, instead of school bags, students carry backpacks, but the festive feeling of the beginning of the school year remains unchanged.

And in the work of Evgeniya Adamova, the first of September has already arrived. The painting, in which a mother is getting her daughter ready for first grade, is called “September 1”. The first-grader’s brother and sister, as well as a neighbor from the house across the street, who is depicted in the background of the painting, take part in this unforgettable event.

The exhibition also features Suvly Yaranov’s painting “Parthian Youth”. Young men and a girl are hovering above the ground, touching the clouds with their hands – this is the current generation of the Turkmen people, who have a rich ancient history.
