On August 20, the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Council of Elders of the Halk Maslahaty and the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship. The agenda included consideration of organizational issues of the Council, discussion of its activities at the local level and specification of tasks for the future.

During the meeting, the national leader of the Turkmen people signed the Resolutions “On approval of the composition of the Council of Elders of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan” and “On approval of the composition of the Council of Elders under the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship”.
