On September 29, as part of the World Expo 2025 Osaka, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan organized a conference dedicated to the meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan at the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan.
Representatives of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan, the Organizing Committee of the World Expo 2025, and the international community participated in the event.
Among the speakers at the conference were Atadurdy Bayramov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan; Hiroshi Nishigaki, representative of the Japan Expo 2025 Association; and a representative of the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan.
The speakers emphasized the significance of the foreign visits of the President of Turkmenistan and the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, as well as the importance of strengthening cooperation and mutual understanding in the world during the International Year of Peace and Trust, which coincides with the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality. The peaceful, humanistic focus of parliamentary diplomacy and the role and activities of the Halk Maslahaty were highlighted.
In particular, Ambassador Bayramov spoke about the domestic and foreign policies pursued by the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen People, the international initiatives presented at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, and the constructive proposals put forward at the Halk Maslahaty meeting.
In addition, the event participants were shown exhibits from Turkmenistan's national pavilion and presentation videos about the country.
