Last week, 18 transactions were registered on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

Entrepreneurs from the United Kingdom and Afghanistan purchased liquefied gas produced by the state concerns "Türkmengaz" and "Türkmennebit" for foreign currency.

In addition, representatives of business circles from the United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan, and Turkey bought raw fabric, cotton fiber, and purified cotton waste — also for foreign currency. The total value of these transactions exceeded $30.4 million.

For the domestic market, Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased base oil (produced by the "Türkmennebit" State Concern) for a total of 604,500 manats.
